The mind is a powerful thing.
For example, in all the planning for this trip, I managed to
keep the reality of a 14 hour flight out of my mind.
Well. Now reality is smacking me in the face.
My body and brain are screaming for sleep.
I can’t force myself to do anything remotely brain working.
I had to force myself to get out my computer and type.
We’ve been in travel mode for the past 19 hours, and to say
its tiring is an understatement.
But since this year I am using the blog as my journal I felt
the need to write.
So within the last 2 hours and 8 minutes we have on this
Boeing 777, I figured I should warn y’all.
This blog is my journal for the trip.
I am usually a blunt person, so you will be hearing all the
ups, downs, goods, bads, and funnies straight from me just like I’d be thinking
them.
That being said, if you don’t want the reality of what China
is like or an orphanage is like, I suggest you leave now.
And I don’t say that to be harsh, I just know that personally,
last year I wasn’t mentally prepared to see or experience a lot of the things I
did, and it was rough, so I wanted to warn you just the same.
I cant promise you that it will always be happy, upbeat, and
fun moments, but I do promise to give a (hopefully) accurate and through count
of China through my eyes.
So with that being said, read on!
