Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! |
A Year of Blessings
B- Big, exciting changes happened this year in our family!
L- Location change: We bought our first home! 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths with a fenced in yard! We are slowly doing updates to make this house into our home!
E- Every home needs a pet, so in March we adopted our sweet Dolly from a local shelter. She is a 3 year old German Shepherd mix. Six months later, Loki joined our family from another shelter. He is a 2 year old Husky/German Shepherd mix.
S- Since we have a fenced in backyard and the extra room, we decided to become foster parents for another dog (Yes, that's three. Our lives are covered in dog hair and puppy kisses!) for Camp Chaos Puppy Rescue. We love being foster parents to Jasmine, and are so excited for her to find a forever home!
S- Spring and Summer passed quickly for us. We kept busy with a trip to Louisville for Chad's work, an office move for Chad, a 200 square foot garden, and a job hunt for Amy!
I- In September, Amy finally got to go back to her dream job as a full time nanny. The family moved here from Mississippi and have two sweet boys ages 3 years and 10 months. Chad continues to build his business in South County.
N- Never a dull moment in our family! Weekdays are filled with work, and evenings and weekends are filled with family fun, church activities, and the occasional trip to Columbia to see our Tigers. We got to attend 3 football games this season and it was a blast!
G- Getting to be Aunt Amy and Uncle Chad to our sweet nephews is such a joy! The boys love to come over and play! We are also anxiously awaiting the arrival of nephew number three, Colton, in early March.
S- Sitting back and marveling at the number of blessings we have is a beautiful thing. We miss all of you, and we always welcome visitors! We pray that you have a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Love,
Chad, Amy, Dolly, and Loki
