I was in a pretty good mood.
Chad yelled from the den, "What's that smell?!"
And by that point I was smelling it too.
So I went on the hunt to find it, and THIS is what I found:
(Brace yourselves, its NASTY!)
See that Black cylinder thing?
That's our garbage disposal.
That we knew was cracked and I thought has been fixed by maintinence.
Ugh. I was wrong.
The disposal now has a steady drip any time the water was turned on.
Which I never noticed, because usually there is a bin of cleaners there.
That bin is outside soaking in bleach, in case you were wondering.
I put a large layer of baking soda down (Both to use as a gentle scrubber and to absorb odor) and scrubbed.
This was the end result.
I'm no genius, but I'm guessing this cabinet, in all its wet, peely, molded-ness, is going to have to be replaced.
Gross.
This is what it looked like after my attempt at cleaning.
Oh, and I should mention this whole fiasco happened before I had even taken two sips of the coffee that started this whole thing.
Go ahead, ask me if I'm a happy camper.
I dare you.
