So. Very. Thankful.

Today we hosted Thanksgiving for both Chad's and my family!

Chad's parents came in last night, and mine showed up for dinner.

Darren showed up after a little bit of car problems...and we gave him his birthday present!

The dogs loved their Thanksgiving dinner too!

The room was all set up ahead of time...

Yes, I had to decorate.

And we had a great time once everyone got there!

We had a great dinner, with LOTS of entertainment from the nephews!

The house was full of the love, laughter, and chatter of family!

We are SO. Very. Thankful.

In case you haven't heard, we booked a cruise!!

We had finally gotten to the point that it was time to get away.

Chad and I had gotten to the point where we looked at each other and decided that there was never going to be a convenient time of enough money, so we just decided to do it!

We are porting out of New Orleans on January 19th!

Trying to do this on the frugal side of things, we are driving down through the night.

Our goal is to be some of the first people on the boat and go nap as soon as we get on to catch up on the sleep we would miss driving the night before.

This is also a combined early Valentines's Day gift to each other.

Heaven knows we would both MUCH rather have a vacation than a "thing".

And for Chad's birthday I am taking him on an excursion in one of the ports, Cozumel or Progreso.

I am SO excited.

On The Ice.

Josh is both the varsity and JV goalie this year for his hockey team!

This means 3-4 nights a week, it's hockey time!

Landon LOVES to go to the games!

Yeah, I am kind of a HUGE fan!
