I'd just like to point out that barring any ridiculous
things tonight, I beat Chad in
our family Fantasy Football League! |
So...it's been two weeks since I wrote the "gotcha!" post about adding to the family.
Chad pointed out that once we actually decide to add to our family no one is going to believe me...
...yeah...sorry about that.
Anyways, here we are two weeks later.
Just to catch up, here is what we have done in the past two weeks...
Chad made it through his long coursework week, to the tune of him leaving the house at 6:30am and coming home at about 9:30pm.
Luckily I found plenty of things to keep me busy and it was good practice for the next two years or so.
Last week we were out and about every night of the week between being at the Lake for the holiday, going to Mom's house, visiting a new church, and dinner with friends after work on Friday.

Chad and I decided we are NEVER doing that again.
Because by the time Friday after dinner rolled around we were wiped.
And asleep by 9:30pm.
Freshman year of college me would be so disappointed.
Oh well.
Saturday we were up and at 'em because we got to go to the Mizzou v. Toledo game!
It was a great win for Mizzou and I LOVED our seats in the end zone.
It was HOT.
But worth it.
Since it was an afternoon game, we were home and asleep by 10pm.
On a Saturday night.
Sheesh, am I 22 or 72?!
