Celebrating Marriage

Wedding season is in full swing!

This past weekend we had our 2nd of 3 this summer that we are attending.

Congrats to Ethan and Jordon!

I've said it multiple times, but I LOVE weddings!

Some people hate them, but I don't. Not at all.

This weekend was also special because we got to go back to Tan Tar A and celebrate our one year anniversary.

A few weeks early, but you get the point.

We got to stay at one of the precious cottages down by the water.

The cute ones that run at about $425/night in season.

For free.

I love those cottages.

It was fun to sit back and remember how our wedding weekend played out.

Perfectly, if you ask me.

Even thinking back on it, I don't know that I'd change a thing!

Timing.

My body has the best timing.

And by best I mean worst.

I am currently laying in bed feeling awful.

It's bad enough to be sick when you're a manager at a short staffed cafe, however, it's downright unfair when you're sick and have your first "big girl" job interview in about 36 hours.

I wish I was kidding.

But I'm not.

I even hauled my lazy butt out in torrential downpours to but a suit coat.

I bet you're loving hearing me whine, right?

I'm just frustrated!

Interview Friday at 3:45.

Pray I knock it out of the park, since it would be a great job to have for the next few years!

That's all I guess.

Time to pass out!

Easter Weekend!

BFF!

I think Sara and I exchanged about a dozen of these necklaces in our childhood.

Little did we know the truth of this statement.

We hadn't seen each other since my bachelorette party last April, but we got to see each other this week.

And it's like picking up right where we last off.

Such a blessing.

We're two old souls in 21 year old bodies!

Yes, I'm very thankful for good friends!

Wedding season has officially started!

The Past Few Weeks in Pictures

Friends went to Chenzhou again and sent home new baby pictures!

Landon has new fish: Hulk, Hawkeye, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, and Nick Fury.

Rolla made it through another St. Pats celebration.

Phew. I'm tired just looking back on all of it!

Sooo...What's next?

I AM A GRADUATE!

HALLELUJAH, thank you JESUS I made it!

So, what's next?

Work. Lots of work at the shop.

Until May, of course.

Then Chad graduates.

Then we move back to the STL area.

Then on 6-17 (Happy anniversary Mom and Dad!) he starts working for Edward Jones.

And I will be getting a job.

And most of all, I will be starting classes to get my travel agent certification!

YAY!

The travel bug is genetic, apparently.

And hopefully now I can turn my favorite hobby into a career!

I'll be finished with courses in 3-6 months, depending on my pace, and then getting a grown up job!

I told my boss today that I keep thinking life will slow down, and then it laughs and hits the accelerator.

So true.

So, yeah.

That's our next few steps.
