Christmas With The Pups

While Dolly and Loki may not understand what Christmas is for, they knew SOMETHING was going on.

This was their first Christmas at home, so we opened their gifts after getting back from Mom's house on Christmas eve.

They LOVED Christmas!

Our Christmas

My husband turns into a child around Christmas time.

He insisted that we opened our gifts on the 23rd.

...so we did!

Loki was SO confused with all the activity.

Christmas is for...

...family!

Our first foster dog got her forever family today.

As we brought her to them, their son's eyes lit up and it was a great thing to see!

After this, we had Chad's dad's side of the family over for a little get together!

Group shot of everyone.

The siblings (Chad's dad is the far right side)

After everyone left, we got to spend some time with just the six (eight if you count the dogs!) of us!

Jolly Little Gentlemen!

I took advantage of the time with the boys and a beautifully decorated church....

Hugs from a very proud brother!

And a proud mama!

Time to wrestle!

Of course we need some time to be silly!

This one in my favorite! We call it "The Smolder".
(If you've seen Tangled, you know what we mean!)

Landon's Stage Debut!

Landon got the chance to play the part of Joseph in his Pre-K Christmas play.

He sang with the class.

He was pretty pleased with himself!

Proud Auntie moment for sure!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like....

...Christmas!!

Decorating your own home for Christmas is just so special!!

Our Tree! (Behind the baby gate thanks to three VERY silly dogs!)

E-Christmas Card and Newsletter 2014

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

A Year of Blessings

B- Big, exciting changes happened this year in our family!

L- Location change: We bought our first home! 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths with a fenced in yard! We are slowly doing updates to make this house into our home!

E- Every home needs a pet, so in March we adopted our sweet Dolly from a local shelter. She is a 3 year old German Shepherd mix. Six months later, Loki joined our family from another shelter. He is a 2 year old Husky/German Shepherd mix.

S- Since we have a fenced in backyard and the extra room, we decided to become foster parents for another dog (Yes, that's three. Our lives are covered in dog hair and puppy kisses!) for Camp Chaos Puppy Rescue. We love being foster parents to Jasmine, and are so excited for her to find a forever home!

S- Spring and Summer passed quickly for us. We kept busy with a trip to Louisville for Chad's work, an office move for Chad, a 200 square foot garden, and a job hunt for Amy!

I- In September, Amy finally got to go back to her dream job as a full time nanny. The family moved here from Mississippi and have two sweet boys ages 3 years and 10 months. Chad continues to build his business in South County.

N- Never a dull moment in our family! Weekdays are filled with work, and evenings and weekends are filled with family fun, church activities, and the occasional trip to Columbia to see our Tigers. We got to attend 3 football games this season and it was a blast!

G- Getting to be Aunt Amy and Uncle Chad to our sweet nephews is such a joy! The boys love to come over and play! We are also anxiously awaiting the arrival of nephew number three, Colton, in early March.

S- Sitting back and marveling at the number of blessings we have is a beautiful thing. We miss all of you, and we always welcome visitors! We pray that you have a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Love,
Chad, Amy, Dolly, and Loki
